The Bellevue Spirit of Music Past, Present and Future
YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED for a night of nostalgia and inspiration as Bellevue Chamber Chorus closes our first forty years with a look back and a look forward!
This concert highlights how music affects our lives through the lens of time: We look back at the birth of music itself with selections by Handel, Uusberg, and Josef Rheinberger. We examine music’s role in our modern lives and possible futures with arrangements by Shawn Kirchner, Eric Barnum, and André Thomas, and we feature Kyle Pedersen’s piece Can We Sing the Darkness to Light with violin and cello. Joining our celebration are former Artistic Director Dr. Fred Lokken, alumni singers and student instrumentalists.
